HEAD: EH-PHI cbl. (hotlink fault)

Service Information:

If this error occurs in the field, chances are that the cable is faulty.

Note that this error can be masked off by using the HEAD MASK command. Note that this is not recommded action for field machines!

Operator Action:

Call service.

Cause:

• The EH-PHI cable is not properly connected between the exposure head (EH) and Parallel Head Interface (PHI) board.
• The EH-PHI cable connector is faulty.
• The EH-PHI cable is faulty.
• The cable from the PHI board to where the saom used to be 10-0793 is prone to break at the PHI board end connector. SMA barrel connector (cable to cable) 10-3560 is robust.
• Few old heads have pigtails on head end of hotlink - wire may break inside head.
