Service Information:

The focus laser safety interlock switch, detected by the HC, is not closed, although the write laser interlock, detected by the WLC, is closed. This is probably due to a problem with the interlock switch mechanism.

This error code applies to Thermal Head firmware version 1.34 and above.

Operator Action:

Ensure that all safety interlock switches are properly closed.

Cause:

• A problem with the interlock switch mechanism.
