Service Information:

Every thirty seconds, the thermal head firmware reads the ambient temperature and compares the reading to a threshhold.

For both air-cooled and water-cooled thermal heads, the threshhold is hardcoded to 50 degrees C. If the threshhold has been exceeded, this error message is provided for informational purposes only.

This error code applies to Thermal Head firmware version 1.30 and above.

Operator Action:

No action is required; this message is for informational purposes only.

Cause:

• The thermal head is getting warm.
