Service Information:

Some focus modes do not support plotting from the edge of a plate. If at a customer site running with diffusely reflecting plates change the focus mode to 4. If media is specular (mirror like) change to focus mode 0. If using a focus mode required for development or debugging, shift the plot away from the edge of the plate.

This error code applies to Thermal Head firmware version 1.30 and above.

Operator Action:

Call service.

Cause:

• Attempting to plot at the edge of the plate in focus modes other than 0 or 4.
