LASER: Hardware failure: output is unstable

Service Information:

The laser cable and laser power supply should be checked. Laser sleep mode should be disabled with "set laser st 0", and the control version changed "set laser ver 2". The laser power can also be lowered by 10 to 20 mW using the "laser power <new power>" command. The recorder should be reset.

If none of the above helps, the laser may be failing and require replacement.

Record error message and contact Creo Service

Cause:

• Faulty power supply or cable
• Laser is failing
