ALE2: Head stage moving more than enough to get home, but not getting there

Service Information:

If the head stage started out farther away from the drum than home then it slowly jogs its way forward until its not home (the home tab is quite long) and then will back up. In this case is has jogged many mm forward and still senses that it is home. Check the home and away board connection and physical health.

Operator Action:

None.

Cause:

• The head stage is attempting to initialize itself.
