Service Information:

Due to factors of focus and the use of an nvs value (al hsap or al dfp for TFX heads) the thickness "measured" by calculation can go out of the generous tolerance range.

Methods to fix it: 1.7x Heads: Over a bare drum- Use the stage install command to move the stage to focus position, Adjust the head focus with the set screw as per head installation if the focus is significantly off.

TFX Heads: use the "stage install tfx" command.

Operator Action:

If the value entered at the workstation is correct then RESUME is acceptable. If the value entered is incorrect, cancel and unload the plate, then resubmit with the correct thickness.

If this problem occurs frequently, contact service to have the machines calibration checked.

Cause:

• Stage has finished zeroing and the measured film thickness is significantly different from the workstation specified value.
