NVS Parameter: al pw

Long Name:

processor_width

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto

  • Description:

This parameter contains the width of the processor. This parameter will be used only when:

    1. Print Console is not connected to the device
    2. The nvs "state bay x rp" is set to 1
    3. Its value is different from zero The logic: 1) The firmware will check if the plate can fit through the processor in the current orientation. If it can, the plate will not be rotated. 2) If the plate does not fit through the processor in the current orientation, the firmware will check if the plate can fit through the processor if rotated. If it does, then the plate will be rotated. 3) If the plate is simply to large to fit through the processor in any direction, then the firmware will suspend asking the user to remove the plate from the unload table.

NOTE: If both "al pw" and "al prg" are set to zero, then the logic remains the one used in previous firmware. That is, if the plate is not in portrait orientation it will be rotated. Otherwise, the plate is not rotated. No check is made to make sure the plate fit through the processor.
