Specifies the number of pixels clipped from the low data pixel side in the stroke. The number must be a multiple of eight and the sum of the soffset and swidth may not exceed 240.

Staccato is implemented using a wide and narrow mode for each media type. The parameters swidth and soffset are for wide mode while the parameters swidthn and soffsetn are for narrow mode.
