Long Name: | multiple_plate_detection |
Applies to: |
|
Description: |
Enables or disables multiple plate detection for each media type. On the Trendsetter Autoloader, sometimes more than one plate is picked and loaded onto the drum. This could occur if the plates are stuck together and do not separate when they are picked off the plate ledge. If multiple plate detection is turned on, then the firmware will try to measure the thickness of the plate on the drum while doing the focus learn. If the measured thickness is much larger than expected, then the system will suspend with an error. On workstation plots, the plates will be unloaded back up the front of the machine. If multiple plate detection is turned off, the plate thickness will not be measured, and the plate(s) will be imaged normally. If the plot verbosity is set to 1, then the measured plate thickness will be displayed for each plate if multiple plate detection is enabled. |
