NVS Parameter: state plate_loc rp

Long Name:

rotate_plate

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto

  • Description:

The rotate_plate parameter is used to selectively enable the plate rotator.

This state parameter is not normally modified with the 'set' command. The firmware uses this parameter for internal 'housekeeping'.

    Print Console V2.0 or higher:

If this parameter is set to 0, then the plate will NOT be rotated before being fed into the processor.

If this parameter is set to 1, then the plate WILL be rotated 90 degrees before being fed into the processor.

    Allegro workstation software:

If this parameter is set to 0, then the plate will NOT be rotated before being fed into the processor.

    As of firmware V1.40:

If this parameter is set to 1, then the firmware will always present the shortest edge to the processor. Plates loaded in portrait will not be rotated; plates loaded in landscape will be rotated 90 degrees prior to being fed into the processor.

If this parameter is set to 2, then ALL plates will be rotated 90 degrees prior to being fed into the processor.

    Prior to firmware V1.40:

If this parameter is set to 1, then the plate WILL be rotated 90 degrees before being fed into the processor.

    Type:

    uint8

    Default:

    • 1

    Range:

    • 0 to 2

    Notes:

This parameter will automatically be copied from "state bay 1 rp" to "state plate_loc p rp" when a plate is picked. For plates loaded manually, it will be set based on the "state bay 1 rp" and "al ri" parameters.
