The registry consists of two 64 byte blocks of EEPROM used as primary and secondary parameter sections. The two sections provide a redundant backup for reading and writing registry keys ( or parameters ).
| The monitor command eeprom erase will erase both the primary and secondary parameter sections, reset the registry version and initialize the checksums. As a result, the monitor command eeprom erase should not be used except during integration of the thermal head and when both parameter sections are corrupt.
| Note that during initialization, the firmware will automatically create all registry keys using defaults.
