The "Plot" data logger control mode, after the acquisition of plot data, displays the data logger subsystem information as follows:
| LOG: Control Mode=<Control Mode>
| LOG: Control Status=<Control Status>
| LOG: Number Of Swaths=<Number Of Swaths>/<Maximum Number Of Swaths>
| LOG: Samples Per Swath=<Samples Per Swath>/<Maximum Samples Per Swath>
| LOG: Transfer Overruns=<Transfer Overruns>
| LOG: Acquisition Time=<Acquisition Time> Seconds
| The "Sample" data logger control mode, after the acquisition of sample data, displays the data logger subsystem information as follows:
| LOG: Control Mode=<Control Mode>
| LOG: Control Status=<Control Status>
| LOG: Number Of Samples=<Number Of Samples>
| LOG: Transfer Overruns=<Transfer Overruns>
| LOG: Acquisition Time=<Acquisition Time> Seconds
| The "Plot" ( except after the acquisition of plot data ), "Sample" ( except after the acquisition of sample data ) and "Off" data logger control modes display the data logger subsystem information as follows:
| LOG: Control Mode=<Control Mode>
| LOG: Control Status=<Control Status>
| The data logger control mode is set by the monitor command log mode (plot|sample|off). The data logger control mode will be one of the following:
| The data logger control status is determined by the data logger control mode and the current state of the data logger subsystem. data logger control status will be one of the following:
- Plot
- Sample
- Initialization
- Acquisition
- Complete
- Off
| The number of swaths indicates the number of swaths of plot data that have been acquired. The maximum number of swaths indicates the maximum number of swaths that could have been acquired ( depends on the plate size ). The number of swaths will typically be less than the maximum number of swaths indicating that the entire plate has not been imaged.
| The samples per swath indicates the number of samples of plot data that have been acquired. The maximum samples per swath indicates the samples per swath that could have been acquired. The samples per swath will typically be less than the maximum samples per swath indicating that sub-sampling of the plot data was required to ensure that all swaths could be acquired.
| The number of samples indicates the number of samples of sample data that have been acquired.
| The transfer overruns indicates the number of overruns of the transfer buffer. To limit the impact of the collection of plot / sample data, the data logger temporarily stores plot / sample data in a transfer buffer. If the data logger cannot process the plot / sample data in a timely fashion, the transfer buffer may overflow causing transfer overruns. If the number of transfer overruns does not equal zero, the plot / sample data may have been compromised.
| The acquisition time indicates the number of seconds required to acquire the plot / sample data.
