This command will selectively display portions of the stimulus data table, Stimulus tables are used for system testing purposes. These tables are downloaded into Thermal 3 memory by a host system. The table data represents a simulated plate profile which may be input to the auto focus servo system to test its tracking capabilities. Stimulus tables are typically very large and it would require a prohibitively long time to display their entire contents on a text monitor display. It is still useful to developers to display various points within downloaded tables to determine general table integrity.

| Each table entry consists of two IEEE floating point values. The first value is the plate profile and the second value is an additive 'disturbance' value which is usually set to zero for most test scenarios. The Thermal 3 head can hold at most 61 seconds worth of stimulus. With a servo sampling rate of 10 kHz the maximum stimulus table size is 610,000 entries. (note that since each entry consists of two floats at four bytes per float the table size in bytes is 610,000 * 8 = 4,880,000 bytes)

| For example, if we assume a loaded stimulus table of maximum size, the command
| foc dumpstim 0 610000 1000 |
| will display every thousandth table entry starting at entry zero and finishing at entry 610000.
