Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
ldd characterize [(a|b)]

Description Characterize the laser diode(s). With the write laser on, acquire samples from the laser diode sensor as the laser current is gradually increased from a low current to a higher current. The samples from the laser diode sensor can then be used to characterize the operating range of the laser diode.

Note that this monitor command automatically calibrates the NVS parameters ldd slopeefficiencya, ldd thresholdcurrenta, ldd slopeefficiencyb and ldd thresholdcurrentb.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command ldd characterize [(a|b)] does not have an equivalent.

Thermal 2 equivalents:
  • The monitor command ldd characterize [(a|b)] does not have an equivalent.
