Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
log mode (sample|plot) (enable|disable)

Description Configure the control mode of the data logger subsystem to "Sample", "Plot" or "Off".

The monitor command log mode sample enable will configure the control mode of the data logger subsystem to "Sample". The monitor command log mode sample disable will configure the control mode of the data logger subsystem to either "Plot" or "Off" ( depending on the NVS parameter log enable ). The monitor command log mode plot enable will configure the control mode of the data logger subsystem to "Plot". The monitor command log mode plot disable will configure the control mode of the data logger subsystem to "Off".

The "Sample" data logger control mode will configure the trigger event to enable the acquisition of sample data. When the trigger event occurs, the acquisition of sample data is enabled and continues indefinitely. Note that the acquisition of sample data is not "sticky"; resetting the exposure head will disable the acquisition of sample data.

The "Custom" data logger control mode will configure the trigger events to enable / disable the acquisition of sample data. When the trigger events occur, the acquisition of sample data is enabled / disabled. Note that the acquisition of sample data is not "sticky"; resetting the exposure head will disable the acquisition of sample data.

The "Plot" data logger control mode will configure the trigger events to enable / disable the acquisition of plot data. When the trigger events occur, the acquisition of plot data is enabled / disabled. As a result, the plot data will be acquired for every plot. Note that the acquisition of plot data is "sticky"; resetting the exposure head will not disable the acquisition of plot data.

The "Off" data logger control mode will disable the acquisition of sample / plot data.

Note that a variety of other subsystems continuously notify the data logger subsystem of the sample / plot data. The data logger subsystem determines when the sample / plot data should be acquired.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command log mode (sample|plot) (enable|disable) does not have an equivalent.

Thermal 2 equivalents:
  • The monitor command log mode (sample|plot) (enable|disable) is comparable to log mode (plot|sample|off).
