| satellite
| The satellite port address from 0 to 8.
A satellite board is considered 'installed' if the NVS parameter sat devsinstalled indicates that the firmware expects to detect the satellite during initialization. A satellite board is considered 'uninstalled' if the NVS parameter sat devsinstalled indicates that the firmware does not expect to detect the satellite and therefore does not attempt detection during initialization.
| If the monitor command sat (install|uninstall) is entered, the following typical example output is displayed:
| [0] NPE ---> uninstalled
[1] ACT ---> installed
[2] PBP ---> installed
[3] IBS ---> installed
[4] DBP ---> installed
[5] WLC ---> installed
[6] RFE ---> uninstalled
[7] LVDU ---> uninstalled
[8] LVDL ---> uninstalled
[9] PBP2 ---> uninstalled |
| The number in square brackets at the beginning of each line indicates the satellite port address. This is followed by the satellite mnemonic name and the installed/uninstalled indication. In this example, the ACT, PBP, IBS, DBP and WLC satellites are installed and the NPE, RFE, LVDU, LVDL and PBP2 satellites are uninstalled.
| If the monitor command sat install <satellite> includes a valid satellite port address, that satellite becomes 'installed'. The firmware will try to detect the satellite during initialization at the next power up or reset. If the monitor command sat uninstall <satellite> includes a valid satellite port address, that satellite becomes 'uninstalled'. The firmware will not try to detect the satellite during initialization at the next power up or reset.
