The satellite subsystem will initialize satellites and then periodically monitor the satellites as required. This NVS parameter installs / uninstalls satellites and is typically useful during the development and / or integration stages of the exposure head.

| While this parameter can be used to install / uninstall satellites, it is recommended that the monitor command sat (install|uninstall) [<satellite>] be used to install / uninstall satellites. The parameters are implemented for permanent storage only.
