Determine the head position for automatic and manual exposure head installation. The exposure head will use the focus to determine the position of the exposure head. The head position state, head position sum / difference and head position error are then used to automatically or manually update the exposure head position.

| The monitor command sys head position automatic will determine the position of the exposure head and then restore the state of the exposure head. Typically the firmware will be adjusting the exposure head automatically ( using a z-stage ).

| The monitor command sys head position (manual on|install on) will determine the position of the exposure head and then continue updating visual indicators ( if available ). Typically a user will be adjusting the exposure head manually.
|
|
| The monitor command sys head position (manual off|install on) will discontinue updating visual indicators ( if available ).

| The monitor commands sys head position (automatic|manual on|manual off|install on|install off) will display the following information:

| SYS: Position State=<Position State>
|
|
| SYS: Position Sum=<Position Sum>
|
|
| SYS: Position Difference=<Position Difference>
|

| The head position state will indicate one of the following:
|
|
|
- Out-of-range
- Saturation
- Within Range
- Good Range
|

| The head position sum / difference is the focus sum / difference and the head position error is the head position error in microns. The head position sum / difference are only included for informational purposes.
