Description:

Configures the machine to a specific machine type, enabling only those features that are available on that machine type. The valid machine types are as follows:

Trendsetter Spectrum:

• "SP4R_" configures a 3230 Trendsetter Spectrum which is shipped prior to Dec 2000.
• "SP8R_" configures a 3244 Trendsetter Spectrum which is shipped prior to Dec 2000.
• "SP4LS" configures a 3230 Trendsetter Spectrum EL
• "SP4RV" configures a 3230 Trendsetter Spectrum V
• "SP8LS" configures a 3244 Trendsetter Spectrum EL
• "SP8RF" configures a 3244 Trendsetter Spectrum F
• "SP8RV" configures a 3244 Trendsetter Spectrum V

Proofsetter:

• "PS8R_" configures a Proofsetter Spectrum.

This command is only available during the first two minutes after startup.

The machine type entered is stored in the NVS parameter "config type".

This commmand also sets the "config ssz" and "sys maxssz" parameters to those associated with the 3230 or 3244 format.

Only available on Spectrum or Proofsetter firmware from V1.40.
