Command: mload

Description:

Manually loads a plate onto the drum.

Loads a plate of the given main scan size (msz) and sub scan size (ssz) onto the drum and updates the drum plate_loc state variables. The msz dimension is the plate height (around the drum) specified in millimeters. The ssz dimension is the plate width (along the drum) specified in millimeters.

When entered without parameters, the plate parameters are taken from the bay.

With parameters, the msz and ssz are taken from the command line. In firmware versions prior to V1.20, the media type is reset to 1, and the thickness is set to the default for media 1. In firmware versions after and including V1.20, the media type is set to the current media type (from last image or "mode media x" command) and the thickness is set to that of the plate most recently on the drum. Use "set state plate_loc d" to change these settings.

This command is not supported on E-type machines.

Applies To:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto
  • Trendsetter_NEWS

Syntax:

mload mload <msz> <ssz>

Notes:

On the Trendsetter NEWS, the command "mload [<msz> <ss>] blind" is also available. This command can be used to load a plate without measuring it with the plate sensor.
