Command: plot sd

Description:

Plots a surface depth series, where:

The <pattern> parameter is an integer specifying which built-in test pattern to use. Use the list pattern command to display the available patterns.

The <start> parameter specifies the starting value in microns, which can be negative. The range is the same as for the media NVS surface depth parameter.

The <increment> parameter specifies the step size, also in microns.

For example, "plot 80 sd -10 2" will plot pattern #80 several times over the width of the media on the drum, starting with the surface depth set to -10 microns and incrementing it 2 microns with each series step.

The current media NVS parameter "sd" is ignored during a sd series.

The number of steps and the width of each stripe are set by the hdp NVS parameters "fmsl" and "fmsw" respectively.

Applies To:

  • Thermal

Syntax:

plot <pattern> [<length>] sd <start> <increment>
