ALE: Plate still on unload table, can't unload |
Applies to: |
|
Operator Action: |
Check for a plate blocking the optical plate sensor on the processor end of the unload table. The sensor may be blocked because the plate processor is turned off or because a plate got stuck feeding into the processor. Either turn on the processor, feed the plate into the processor, or remove the plate from the unload table. Select the RESUME button on the workstation dialog box once the plate is no longer on the unload table. |
Service Information: |
This error gets reported if the optical plate sensor on the processor end of the unload table is blocked for longer than the timeout specified by the altim pht parameter during an UNLOAD command. This error gets reported under two conditions:
It is possible that very bright light shining directly into the optical sensor may cause cause the sensor to activate. The sensor status may be checked by using the TABLE command. The sensor status should read TRUE if the sensor is activated. It may be useful to set the 'verbose alcmd' and 'verbose alconv' parameters to 1 in order to obtain further diagnostic information. |
