ALE: carrier larger than expected. Please remove carrier.

Operator Action:

Remove the carrier on the load ramp and click the RESUME button from the workstation dialog box. After about 30 seconds, the trendsetter will ask the user to load another carrier. Load a correct-sized carrier and hit the load button.

Service Information:

If the above action does not solve the problem, then the load ramp sensor may not be working properly. Check for any debris blocking the sensor. If the sensor is clean, use "set al lps 0" on the diagnostic monitor to bypass the sensor and get the customer going, and arrange for field service.

Cause:

• The operator loaded an over-sized carrier on the load ramp.
• The load plate sensor is dirty, damaged or misaligned.
