Error Number: 16017

Error Message:

IMAGE: stroke flatten tolerance increased by <2,3,4 ...>

Applies to:

  • Green

Service Information:

The firmware was unable to calibrate the stroke to the tolerance specified by the "set media <media> stol" parameter, and is therefore increasing the tolerance by the indicated factor. If necessary, the tolerance will be increased up to the limit specified by the "set media <media> ltol" parameter.

If the desired exposure level is reasonable, this message can indicate a failing head. The weakest pixels cannot reach the desired exposure level, so the tolerance must be increased. The DAOM calibration also may be inaccurate.

Operator Action:

Report this message to Creo Service. If no other errors are reported, the platesetter will continue working fine, but may need servicing soon.

Cause:

  • Exposure level too high
  • Head is failing.
  • DAOM calibration is inaccurate
