Service Information:

For integrating media such as the T96-3 plate, special care must be taken to avoid image artifacts. Stray light from the light valve will expose the plate in a very short amount of time. If the job is cancelled any time after the focus learn starts, the plate is considered a reject. This is because a second focus learn will cause a dark line to appear on the plate.

The parameter "media slf" will have been set to 1 to indicate this integrating feature of the plate.

Operator Action:

This message should only ever appear as a warning message. It means that the plate cannot be re-used and will be unloaded. This will only happen after a job has been cancelled, not in normal operation.

Cause:

• Job cancelled after focus learn, and media is integrating so plate cannot be re-used.
