Error Number: 17037

Error Message:

HEAD: Current media does not support 1200 dpi with SSD = 2. Ensure your image file is using the correct dpi.

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Proofing

Service Information:

The Trendsetter Spectrum and Proofsetter Spectrum do not support 1200 dpi when "special_plot_mode" is not 0. Use 2400 dpi with the special plot mode or use 1200 dpi without the special plot mode.

Operator Action:

1200 dpi is not supported with the requested mode of imaging the media. Check that the correct resolution (2400 dpi) is specified and the correct media is selected for the current plot. Note that most proofing medias must be imaged at only 2400 dpi.

If the image you are trying to do is a regular plate, or is proofing media at 1200 dpi, call Creo Customer Support for help.

Cause:

  • The workstation tried to image proofing media at 1200 dpi. Change the resolution to 2400 dpi.
  • The workstation was supposed to image a plate at 1200 dpi but selected the wrong media, one that requires "special plot mode". Ensure the correct media type is chosen for the image.
  • The media has the "spm" parameter incorrectly set to 1. Only certain proofing medias require this to be set to 1.
  • The mode has the "ssd" parameter incorrectly set to "2". If this is the case, first double check that the correct plot mode was selected, and if it was, ensure the mode ssd and msd parameters are both 1, the mode dpi parameter is 2400 dpi, and ensure that the mode pps parameter equals the head swidth.
