Service Information:

If this is in response to a diagnostic command then adjust the target position to a valid value (ie. less than al hsap) and operation should resume as normal.

If this is reported during requlard operation then it is likely that during a stage zero the media and surface reflectivity do not match resulting in a "runaway" condition. In this case, double check that the correct media is selected using "mode media #" where # is for the media you're using. Then check that the surface reflectivity is also correctly set.

• What it says - the stage has been asked to move to a position closer to the drum than it's known away position (stored in al hsap).
