HOMC2 BOARD ASSY - 503C42273 ( ECO 22007 ) (Dolev 4press)

The new board HOMC2 ( Cat Number 503C42273 ) replaces the
board HOMC. The Effectively date for the new board is
April 1, 1996 .

The reasons for the replacement are:

1. Absorption of Wire-Wrap connections.
2. Electrical design improvements.
3. Improved testability and fitness to ICT testers.
4. Support for LINE-ON algorithm - a possibility to turn on the diode's pre-bias for the line width only (Still not supported by s/w).
5. Preparation for RS232 communication with In-Line-Processor.

The new board is functionally equivalent to the old one.

The new board has to be operated with the following s/w :

1. Machine s/w : HADAS VERSION 5.21 OR GRATER.
2. Diagnostics : DIAG VERSION 1.20 OR GREATER.

If the HOMC2 board is operated with lower version, 2 error messages appear:

1. POS15V ERR
2. DAT5V ERR

These messages has no influence on the machine operation and they arise due to the voltage measuring s/w algorithm. This algorithm was changed in the higher versions.
