CreoScitex Silver Mixing Instructions

1. Mixing Instructions
   Mix 6 parts F63TXS666 to 1 part V66V27 and reduce with 6-MEK\16 to required viscosity.
2. SMOOTH COAT
   • Reduce the 6:1 mix to approximately 35-38 sec. on a #2 zahn.
   • Spray - 11/4 turns fluid for smooth
   • 55-60 lbs. atomizing air
   • 18-20 lbs. fluid pressure
3. FLASH - 20- 30 Min.
4. TEXTURE COAT -
   • Reduce the 6:1 mix to approxirnate 45-48 sec. on a # 2 zahn.
   • Spray - 30-35 lbs. atomizing air
   • 20 lbs. fluid
   • Turn fan out approximately full
   • Turn needle out approx. 11/4 turn
5. 5 Min. Flash

BASE COAT

Film thickness should be 1.5 - 2.0 mfl in order to achieve the proper colorant gloss.

TEXTURE

Spray Gun #18 BINKS with #65 fluid nozzle, 65 fluid needle and 66 s/d air cap.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE DIFFERENT GUN PARTS MAY CHANGE COLOR - ESPECIALLY IN SILVERS.
