Loading/Unloading Rollers Pressure Adjustment

Below are the loading and unloading forces that need to be checked or adjusted for the following reasons:

• film skew
• bad film attachment
• out-of-focus areas
• misregistration
• planned maintenance.

To adjust roller pressure

1. Check that the loading cassette film pulling force is 800gr +/- 100gr. (Use a new roll of film at the maximum media width.)
2. Power off the machine and hold the motor coupling.
3. Confirm that both sides and center of the loading rollers are even.
4. Using a weight gauge*, confirm that the unloading rollers pressure is 1000gr +/- 100gr. (Pull the weight gauge at a 45 degree angle.)
