When having problems with start-up, one of the options is a line in the  Config.Sys file, that is related to the Panel set-up.

Please follow this procedure to cause the CPU to ignore this line.

1. Connect a monitor+keyboard
2. Go out of the 4press application by pressing Ctrl E
3. Write C: and then press Enter you should receive the C> prompt
4. Write edit config.sys and press enter
5. Go down with the cursor to the beginning of the line
   DEVICE=C:/DOS/EMM386.EXE....., and enter REM in front of it
6. Press Alt and then F. Choose Save. Press again Alt and then F. Choose X.
7. Reboot the machine.
