Problem:
Sometimes the white lines problem will appear as a missing data line during stop spiral.
We can get one or more lines in different widths ( 20 to 300 microns ).
The image dimension in the Height direction does not change.
Data seems to be missing.
Using a microscope we observe a solid black line on the edge of the white lines, as though the carriage stopped and expose continued on the same few data lines.
Reason:
This is caused by freedom in the coupling between the lead screw and the dynamic optic.
Solution:
Repair or replace the coupling.
ECO 23888 was done on this coupling in order to solve that problem.
In order to fix the coupling please tighten the screws ( # 4 in the drawing ) and make sure that the pins ( # 2 in the drawing ) are held by the outside rings ( # 1 and # 5 in the drawing )
The COUPLING part number : 507B2G789
Important: Do Not Replace the whole Lead Screw.
Workaround:
Reduce Spinner Speed
