Conventional

Input Resolution:    On the average set the Input resolution to get apx. 2 pixels per 1 printing dot.
Mesh (Screen Ruling)     up to 200 lpi 80 l/cm

When the image contains patterned images (such as: cloth patterns) it may result in subject moire. Therefore it is recommended to scan at a higher Input resolution.

HDP

• To enhance details of the image it is re commended to scan in a higher resolution than with conventional screens.
• This application is recommended for top quality (fine art ) reproduction printed on high quality stock.
• All other scanning adjustments are the same as those used for conventional screening.
• Dot gain compensation for HDP is made by using the Output Tone Reproduction LUT at the imagesetter.

FullTone

• To produce the same detail and sharpness as with conventional screening, the Input resolution can be lowered by 10-20%.
• For very high quality it is recommended to use a high Input resolution.
