Tips

The Screen Ruling Microline ratio presented in the above table is recommended to compensate for Dot loss which is most critical in the highlights on both the plate and the print.
As the film is more contrasty and its micro-density is higher, the amount of dot loss in highlight areas decreases.
It is recommended to use a fine grain high resolution plate.
You should regularly check film linearity to insure that chemistry and processing are consistent.
