Description of Change
A wheel is added to the Shutter Protector. The film will touch the wheel instead of the Protector. This will elliminate the scratches.
Change Procedure
Wheel assembly
- Insert the nylon flat washer (# 382A26006) on the Cutter shaft (#
270A29517)- Insert the Wheel on the Shaft and insert the Shaft to the
Wheel holder (# 280B35989) from the right side (see drawing 733B8F079).
- Lock the Shaft with the Wheel on it into the Holder using one set
screw (#380S05014).
- Insert the two other set screw into the Holder.
Move the Carriage to the right side of the plotter.
Open the right door and remove the right light cover.
Remove the Shutter protector (part # 225 in drawing 731D8A746) by releasing the three screws (# 217 in drawing 731D8A746).
Install the Wheel assembly on the Shutter Protector.
Install the Shutter Protector (with the wheel) back to its place.
Load film and make sure that the film is touching the wheel and not the cover. Close the cover and the door.
