Dolev 800/800P Dynamic Optic - Replacing old lens housing with new one assembled using better glue to prevent "bow" problems

Reason for change

  1. The new lens housing is assembled with a better glue that sticks the fiber optic to it and prevents "bow" problems that are caused due to a poor adhesion in the old type of glue.

  2. The problem can be identified when an inconsistent bow lines appears in range of up to several hundreds microns. In this case it can be caused by poor adhesion in the old type of glue. Usually external signs can be seen. Look carefully for a crack between the fiber connection and the fiber holder. Rotate carefully and verify that the fiber is secured to the holder (#109).
