One of the labels affixed to CreoScitex cartons and
shipments of plotters is the Handle with Care warning. This particular label
is what is known as a shockwatch label, which contains a detection device utilizing
two common
physics principles to indicate the magnitude of any impact inflicted.
The shockwatch labels are available in four sensitivities, as indicated by the following four colors:
| Yellow | 25 g-force |
| Red | 50 g-force |
| Orange | 75 g-force |
| Green | 100 g-force |
Scitex uses the red shockwatch label on a routine basis. Any impact registering above 50 g. will cause the red to spread over the face of the shockwatch, indicating rough handling.
In this case, check for damage to the plotter and make note of the occurence in the Quality Feedback Report.
