FSB 413 - Dolev 800 - Carriage Assembly

This FSB describes how to improve the carriage motion and can serve as a solution to lines and pattern on film.

Implement Procedure:

1. Remove the carriage assembly (you will have to remove the lead screw first).
   
   
2. Check and examine the rullon (red) surface. Check where the rullon touches the guide beam. The places that are touching are usually brighter than the rest.
   
   
3. File the rullon according to the enclosed figure.
   
   
4. Very carefully clean the residue and the whole rullon.
   
   
5. Clean the guide beam.
   
   
6. Reinstall the carriage and the lead screw.
   
   
7. Check and examine the carriage motion.
