Laser Safety Precautions

READ THIS STATEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING OR OPERATING THE DOLEV 800 IMAGESETTER.

Caution:    Use of controls and/or adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those specified in this manual may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

The Dolev 800 Imagesetter is serviced and maintained exclusively by specialized technicians trained in the proper procedures for working with and adjusting the laser diode beam power and its optical path.

Opening of the upper service cover is restricted: only the specialized technicians are allowed to open the cover.

YOU MUST AVOID DIRECT EXPOSURE TO THE BEAM AND THE BEAM REFLECTION.

The laser radiation may be up to 15 milliwatts.

A warning sign is attached on the imagesetter drum. It is visible when the loading door or upper service cover are open:
