TSP buffer full while waiting for Dolev

Symptoms

The imagesetter did not start imaging after loading the film. After a while, jobs are missing and there is blank film in the output tray of the processor.

Cause

Due to a faulty carriage motor connector, the carriage does not move, so the stepper driver counter does not transfer information to the CRI board. Without the infromation from the stepper driver counter, the device cannot release data from the buffer so the buffer becomes full.

Solution

Repair the harness connector and replace the stepper motor assembly if required.
