Wide white lines and black lines problems

It was found that the problem of wide white lines ( Blank areas or wide lines of no data ) are related to the static optic of the Dolev 800. The problem will cause the laser to be turned off and then no data will be exposed for a certain amount of time resulting in a wide white line.

The Static optic with compatibility level L will solve the problem.

Since the beginning of 1998, all the static optics leaving production have compatibility level L.

One more problem that was found was black lines that will look like light leakage. That problem can be solved with a jumper inside the static optic that has comp. level L. Please contact your technical specialist for more information - Never open the Static Optic unless you are instructed to do so!
