Background

The diagnostics update CD enables working with diagnostics on all Lotem 400 Family platesetters.

Procedure

1. Insert the diagnostics update CD (part number 633-00274A) into the CD ROM drive.
2. Browse to the Diag folder and copy it from the CD to C:\Lotem.

Note: If you have a Lotem Xpose platesetter, copy the Xpose Diagnostics shortcut file to the desktop, as described in Step 3. In non-Xpose Lotem Controller software, this file already exists on the desktop.

3. (For Lotem Xpose platesetters only) Select C:\Lotem\Diag, and then copy the Xpose Diagnostics shortcut file to the desktop.
   
4. Remove the CD from the CD ROM drive.
5. Double-click this shortcut on the desktop to activate the Diagnostics.
