Overview for Lotem 200K

The Creo Lotem^® 200K is a derivative of Lotem 400 Xpose. The 2-page configuration
is driven by a Macintosh®-based PS/M digital front end.

The Lotem 200K is incorporated as part of a full printing production system with the KBA Genius^® 52 waterless sheet fed offset press. It has been qualified to expose waterless chemical-free plates.

The fully-integrated 2-page CTP system and its workflow solution includes Creo PS/M, Creo PressTouch™ with FAF, and an option to add third-party 1-bit TIFF connectivity.

Technical info:

• The imaging head includes 24 beams (40u fiber-coupled laser diodes) plus 2 return fibers for focus and edge detection.
• Special spoilers to support the special plate layout for the Genius 52 press replace the standard spoilers.
• Two new guides on the plate-loading tray support the specific plate format for the Genius 52 press.
• A new ID sticker and labels appear on the Lotem 200K.
• The latest Lotem Controller and Xpose software versions with their updates released to the field support Lotem 200K.
• KBA uses 0.3 mm Presstek PEARLdry and Toray plates. These plates, for waterless offset printing, have different characteristics than thermal plates for wet offset printing. Therefore, they requires different handling.
