Abstract:
These Release Notes contain the changes and additions that have been made since
the release note for version 1.30.04.
Overview/Introduction
The patch is to overcome on some known bugs that found in version 1.30.04
This patch is for Lotem 400 w/ PS/M
and Lotem 400/400 w/ MCU
The patch loads VersionInfo.txt on C:>Lotem that contains files versions.
New Features
Lotem 400: Loading & unloading stages
Remove all the Automatic parameters from the manual
New option to shut down the Drum Vacuum pump while unloading 0.15 mm plates
Vacuum pump stays on after unloading plates.
Fix problem with unload plate that was depended on CPU speed.
Closing plate stopper (in loading system) when Abort/Stop is pressed

Lotem 400 w/ MCU
: Loading & unloading stages
Same as Lotem 400 plus:
Check the plate size for backward movement of the centring short pins.
Different Y to drum position for any plate thickness.
Disable Bar Flag in stage C (From Punch to Drum) of loading sequence.
Lotem 400 w/ PS/M
Same as Lotem 400 plus:
Supporting the 15” screen.
Add MacLan licence in the Reg.
Known Bugs
This version does not fixing the known bugs:
Intermittent error: C++.
Stop expose in 70% of the file – new pltDC file in the Brisque.
Changing loading tray causing XY to crush – Close detector “Paper/Plate
On Disposal Detector”.
Error in the second strip when exposing Res/Int test – No solution
yet.
Fixed Bugs
Centring crush in big size of plates.
Performing double wait distance while doing centring.
XY crush when changing cassette.
Communication problem.
Drum Vacuum Pump close after each unload.
Mismatch of A.L. parameters.
Synchronizing Drum motor and unloading tray motor.
Different position of plate, in Y-axis, when plate moves to drum.
When plate moves to drum, (in stage C) disable Bar Flag detector.
Lotem 400 w/ PS/M
– supporting 15” screen.
Installation Notes
Lotem 400 manual:
Load version 1.30.04.
Insert Diskette to drive a:
Use the explorer to go to a: and double-click on the INSTALL.BAT file.
Load the application, go to DDB board and press on Send ALL.
Shut down the machine – power off and turn it on again.
Lotem 400 w/ MCU
with 1.30.04:
Save Reg and Database.
Check to have Auto Loader parameters page that came with the machine.
Insert Diskette to drive a:
Use the explorer to go to a: and double-click on the Reg file “Patch2-Registry-update.reg” Warning: this will generate default parameters
for the loading system and is intended only for new upgrades of 1.30.04. If
your VA is running and already have 1.30.04 this registry update described
in paragraph #4 is not needed and may ruin your working set up.
Use the explorer to go to a: and double-click on the INSTALL.BAT file.
Load the application, go to DDB board and press on Send ALL.
Shut down the machine – power off and turn it on again.
Verify that all parameters relates to A.L are corresponding to what you
gut with the machine.
Lotem 400 PSM
Insert Diskette to drive a:
Use the explorer to go to a: and double-click on the Instal_PSM.BAT file.
Load the application, go to DDB board and press on Send ALL.
Shut down the machine – power off and turn it on again.
Pre-Installation Checklist
Verify to have 1.30.04 install in the machine.
