Error

UDRC error: Unknown error message.

Symptoms

Upon Startup, the error message appears.

Cause

Solution

Change the following Bios and Ports parameters:

BIOS

1. Reboot the PC.
2. Access BIOS.
3. In BIOS, select PCI/PnP, and then select IRQ10.
4. In the Options dialog box, select ISA/EISA.
5. Save your changes and exit BIOS. The PC automatically reboots.

Ports

1. Select Start>Settings>Control Panel, and then double-click Ports.
2. In the Ports dialog box, click Add.
3. In the Advanced Settings for New Port dialog box, make the following changes:
• COM Port Number—select 6
• Base I/O Port Address—type 168
• Interrupt Request Line (IRQ)—select 10
4. Click OK.
5. Click the Restart Now button.
