Exposure does not start on Lotem 400

Product

  • Lotem® 400 platesetter
  • Lotem 400 Xpose
  • Lotem 400 Quantum

Error

There is a host-related error message in the Front-end application.

Symptoms

Exposure does not start.

Cause

One of the following may be the cause of this problem:

  • Platesetter is not on, or is not in Ready mode.
  • Connectivity problem

Solution

Before you start, if there is another error message in Lotem Controller, resolve that message and then try to expose the plate.

  1. Verify that the platesetter is ON, and in Ready mode.
  2. To ensure proper connectivity between Brisque and Lotem Controller, in Brisque, select Devices > Platesetter > Lotem > Lotem 400, and then click the Reconfigure button.
  3. In the Queue manager, a red blinking error icon appears on the upper part of the dialog box. Select Tools > Operate Control > Plate Expose > Lotem 400, and then double-click the blinking icon.
    • If the error icon disappears, send another expose job.
    • If the error icon continues to blink, in the IN Queue area, double-click the relevant error message to receive an explanation of the problem.
