Vacuum pump

Symptoms

• You can hear the noise of the vacuum pump stop
• The image fades out
• The image is out of focus

Cause

The vacuum pump overheats and turns off, causing improper plate attachment.

Solution

1. While the vacuum pump is running, adjust the air relief valve by turning it counterclockwise until you hear the release of air.
2. Replace the vacuum pump air filter and blades.
