Image start area adjustment on Lotem 400 Quantum

Product

Lotem® 400 Quantum

Background

Adjust the image start area to 10 mm from the leading edge of the plate so that the exposed image is not interrupted by the head grippers.

Procedure

  1. In Lotem Controller, open the splot terminal and type quantum>>GC\Mshift.
  2. Change the default (43600) to approximately 44200.
Note: These numbers are in microns, so you need to make changes in steps of 1000 in order to see any difference.

Important: Do not change the default settings of the following parameters:

  • Top/Bottom mechanical margins 6, 6
  • Width start image area 41

Note: You can also make these changes in Brisque in press format > select offset.

Test

Expose a plate, and then make sure the distance between the edge of the image and the edge of the plate is 10 mm. .
