Dents in 0.15 mm plates on Lotem 400 Quantum with MCU

Product

  • Lotem® 400 Quantum
  • MCU for Lotem 400
  • Lotem Controller 1.50.08

Symptoms

Dents in 0.15 mm plates

Cause

The script disregards the Y Down After Punch For 0.15 parameter and uses the Y down after punch parameter instead.

Solution

After the XY bar reaches 765 mm on the X axis, it descends to 9 mm (relative) on the Y axis. Change the parameters that control these movements to resolve denting on 0.15 mm plates.

  1. In Regedit, locate ...\IO OBJECTS\Loading System \Load Plate\From Cassette To Punch Entry Stage.
  2. Decrease the Y down after punch (mm) parameter by a few milimeters (default = 9).
  3. Optional: increase or decrease the following parameters by a few milimeters:
    • X In After Punch (mm)—(default = 755)
    • X Move X Upto wheels for 015 (mm)—(default = 10)
